Toll
bilan non établi

The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.

Capital of occupied Thrace, Komotini sees its community gathered in a tobacco depot, its belongings seized and inventoried, before departure to the death camp.

Komotini, the regional capital of western Thrace, was home to an ancient Sephardic community, joined by Romaniote families who lived by trade and craftsmanship in the neighborhoods near the market. The city had been administered by Bulgaria since the partition of Greece. In early March, the occupation authorities gathered the Jews of Komotini into requisitioned premises, then transferred them to the riverside transit warehouses; the convoys departed toward the extermination center. The community was destroyed.
