The small town had sheltered the yeshiva of the master of morality whom the Jewish world knew through his book on slander; the ghetto is liquidated in spring and the inhabitants shot in pits dug near the Jewish cemetery. A few young people escape the night before and join the forest partisans.
Radun was known throughout the Jewish world for its house of study, founded by the master known as the Hafetz Hayim. The enclosed quarter established in the town receives the Jews from the surrounding hamlets, then the entire population is led to the pits dug near the cemetery. A few young people escape the night before through the gardens and join the armed groups in the Naliboki forest; it is they who will bring back the account of that day.
