Toll
bilan non établi

The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.

The closed quarter of Podhajce, where Jews from neighboring villages had been crowded together, is emptied by successive raids: part of it is shot on the spot in the cemetery, the other sent to the extermination camp.

In Podhajce, a town in Podolia where the community represented half the population, raids followed requisitions throughout the year. The inhabitants were led in groups to pits dug on the outskirts of the town, or crowded into wagons heading east. The ancient cemetery and the defensive synagogue, which dated from the Turkish wars, were abandoned.
