The ghetto opened in October 1939 is emptied toward Treblinka.
Piotrków Trybunalski, in central Poland, received in October of the year 1939 the first closed quarter established by the occupier in Poland: the measure was applied there a few weeks after the invasion, before being extended to the rest of the country.
The quarter is emptied in autumn, its inhabitants led to the station and sent to Treblinka. A small group of workers is kept on around the city's glassworks, one of which will continue to operate until the end of the occupation.
