The community of Dresden, reduced to persons married to non-Jewish spouses and forced laborers, is deported by successive convoys to the east and to Bohemia.

The Jews of Dresden are deported in successive convoys throughout the year, to Riga and then to Theresienstadt. The families had previously been crowded into designated houses in the city. Soon only those married to non-Jewish spouses remain, subjected to forced labor and summoned for a final departure in the weeks preceding the end of the war.
