A town on the banks of the Ros marked by the massacres of the seventeenth century, Korsoun loses its community in the autumn of the occupation. The Jewish inhabitants are registered, stripped of their belongings, then led to a ravine on the outskirts where they are shot. The name of the town thus belongs to two centuries of Memory: that of the Cossack uprisings and that of the Shoah.
