Jews of Cologne are gathered in the exhibition hall of Deutz, on the right bank of the Rhine, before being loaded onto the Łódź ghetto.

The first convoy departing from Cologne in the autumn is directed toward the Lodz ghetto. The families had been gathered in the fairground halls, on the right bank of the Rhine, transformed into an assembly camp for the entire region. From this same location, convoys would subsequently depart toward the ghettos of the East and then toward Theresienstadt.
