A blood libel accusation was brought in Lublin: three Jews were executed, and the child's body was subsequently venerated.

The case is one of the first of its kind in Poland, where such accusations would multiply in the following century; kings protested through letters recalling that papal bulls condemned these accusations, but local courts passed judgment and local cults took hold. The Council of Four Lands sent delegations to Rome on several occasions to obtain their condemnation.
