The call of Orihuela was attacked during the wave of thirteen ninety-one.
The city was the last in the kingdom of Valencia before Castilian Murcia, and the wave passed from one kingdom to the other without stopping at the borders: this is what distinguishes it from ordinary riots, none of which had ever swept across the entire peninsula in such a manner.
