the Jewish quarter attacked
The Jewish community of Monzón, between Aragon and Catalonia, was attacked during the Black Death.
The city held a stronghold of the Templars and then the Hospitallers, and its Jewish community lived under the direct protection of the order. This protection did not shield it from the riot.
