Uffenheim, in the Tauber region, lost its community during the Rintfleisch massacres. The locality would be struck again by the Armleder a generation later, then by the Black Death.

Three destructions in half a century for a town of this size: such was the ordinary lot of fourteenth-century Franconia, and it is enough to explain the displacement of German Jewry eastward, toward Bohemia, Silesia, and Poland, where sovereigns offered charters and where cities had not yet begun to burn.
