Tsadik enterré à Ouarzazate. Selon le récit rapporté dans « Keter Kedoucha » (histoire de la dynastie des tsadikim Pinto), il apparut avec deux de ses disciples aux juifs de Ouarzazate montant en Terre sainte, sur la route de Tichka, se présentant: « Je suis Rabbi Yossef Pinto ».
