Yaʿaneh la-Rabbim (1858) is a polemical and halakhic writing by Rabbi Abraham Ankawa, connected with a controversy that set him against the rabbis of Algiers. It sheds light on the rabbinic tensions of mid-nineteenth-century Algeria, where Ankawa served — notably as rabbi of Mascara — after leaving Morocco.
