Chanukah Lamp – Poland, 19th Century

Chanukah Lamp. Poland, [19th century]. Silver-plate tin-brass (stamped, manufacturer's stamps, Fraget w Warszawie – glaw). Cast base with legs, upon which are small cups (with removable cornets). On the panel are ornamentations of hammering, sawing, gluing and screwing work. In the center is a model of the Temple menorah, a pair of lions holding palm trees, a Torah crown and grapevine leaves. At the side of the menorah are the "shamash" and a jug for oil (removable). Height: 30 cm. Width: 27 cm.
