Philosophe française née à Paris dans une famille juive d'origine alsacienne. Agrégée de philosophie, militante syndicaliste, ouvrière par choix (1934-35), engagée brièvement dans la guerre d'Espagne (1936) et auprès de la France libre. Morte à 34 ans en Angleterre en 1943. Son œuvre philosophique et mystique majeure a paru à titre posthume.
