The Aleppo Codex (Keter Aram Tzova) is the most faithful manuscript of the Tiberian Masorah, copied around 930 and vocalized by Aaron ben Asher. Regarded by Maimonides as the standard for writing a Torah scroll, it was kept for centuries in Aleppo. Damaged in the 1947 riots, about two thirds survive, now in the Shrine of the Book in Jerusalem.
