Leading contemporary dance company in Israel, founded in 1964 by Baroness Batsheva de Rothschild with Martha Graham serving as artistic adviser. Initially devoted to Graham technique, it reinvented itself under the direction of Ohad Naharin (since 1990), creator of the "Gaga" language, and now radiates worldwide.
