For instance, the allocations for schools reached (15,225) dinars in the last year, hospitals (4,327) dinars, and charitable institutions (8,428) dinars. Therefore, the interruption of this resource or its disruption due to the non-purchase of Kosher meat will inevitably lead to the closure of these institutions that serve the members of the community of all classes. Since His Eminence Rabbi Sassoon Khedouri has submitted his resignation to His Excellency the Minister of Justice, the President of the Lay Council is managing the affairs of the community presidency on an acting basis in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 77 of the Jewish Community Law of 1931.
