Le Birkat ha-Mazon est la bénédiction d'action de grâce récitée après tout repas comportant du pain. Composé de quatre bénédictions principales, il remercie Dieu pour la nourriture, la Terre d'Israël, Jérusalem et la bonté divine. Lorsque trois convives adultes au moins ont mangé ensemble, on introduit le texte par une invitation collective (zimoun), pratique qui rythme la table juive depuis l'Antiquité.
