Fils d'Aharon Chelouche, né à Jaffa en 1870. Entrepreneur et industriel du bâtiment, il fut l'un des fondateurs de Tel-Aviv. Il laissa un mémoire remarqué sur la coexistence judéo-arabe et l'histoire de Jaffa/Tel-Aviv.
