Toll
bilan non établi

The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.

The small community of the Èvre valley is rounded up with those of Thrace and handed over to German authorities; no family will return to settle there.

The small community of Soufli, in the valley of the Èvre, was rounded up along with those of western Thrace and handed over to the German authorities by the occupation administration. The families, who lived by silk and trade, were gathered within a matter of hours and dispatched eastward. None returned to settle in Soufli. The disappearance of these communities of Thrace, surrendered by an administration that was not that of the country, has long been treated separately in the History of the region.
