Town in the eastern suburb of Warsaw whose Jews are led in autumn to Treblinka.

Wołomin, in the eastern suburbs of Varsovie, was home to a recently established community settled along the railway line, employed in trade and workshops. During the occupation, the Jews of the town and surrounding localities were gathered into a sealed quarter. Forced labor on the construction sites of the line claimed the men. In the autumn, the liquidation operation assembled the population in front of the station and transported them to Treblinka, whose track passed at a short distance. The sick were shot on the platform. Those who attempted to reach Varsovie were arrested at the checkpoints along the line.
