The ghetto of the spa town is emptied towards Treblinka, hundreds of people shot in the streets.

Otwock, a thermal resort amid the pine forests near Varsovie, was known for its sanatoriums and rest homes, and sheltered a significant Jewish population to which refugees from the capital had been added.

The enclosed quarter is emptied at the end of summer toward Treblinka. The sick from the sanatoriums and those unable to walk are shot in the streets and gardens during the action. A few inhabitants manage to reach the woods surrounding the town.
