A small sugar town in Galicia, Chodorów sees its Jews employed in the refinery then rounded up with families, convoys departing toward the death camp.

Chodorów, a township in eastern Galicia known for its sugar refinery and railway junction, was home to a community of merchants, employees, and workers. Under occupation, it was subjected to levies and forced labor, then enclosed in a sealed quarter where Jews from the surrounding villages gathered. Liquidation actions followed one after another throughout the year: selections, on-site shootings of the sick, convoys to the extermination camp; some workers from the sugar refinery were kept on for a time before being killed in their turn.
