The Jews of Borszczow and the villages of Galician Podolia are confined to a few streets, where typhus and hunger take their toll before roundups carry the inhabitants to mass graves and trains.
Borszczow, a town in Podolia near the Dniestr, sees its community locked in an enclosed quarter where Jews from the surrounding villages pour in. Hunger, typhus, and raids follow one after another; the inhabitants are taken by convoys to the extermination camps, and the last ones are shot on the spot during the liquidation of the quarter.
