The Shoah (1939–1945)
First convoy from Hanover
15 déc. 1941·Hanovre
The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
The Jews of Hanover, already driven from their homes and crowded into so-called Jewish houses, are deported to Riga.
The convoy that departed from Hanovre at the end of the year is directed toward Riga. The city's families had previously been crammed into designated houses, spread across several neighborhoods, from which they were led to the station. The following convoys will depart toward Varsovie and toward Theresienstadt, until the dissolution of the community.
