The Stuttgart synagogue is burned and Jewish businesses in Württemberg are ransacked; the men are taken to the Dachau camp.
In Stuttgart, the central synagogue is set on fire and Jewish shops ransacked during the night of violence. Men are rounded up and sent to Dachau. The Württemberg community, which brought together families long established in Swabian villages before moving to the city, loses on this occasion its institutions and its main place of worship.
