Toll

The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
Jews were expelled from Ödenburg, today Sopron, following the defeat at Mohács.
The border town with Austria had an ancient community whose houses on the Jewish street still stand, along with their medieval synagogue rediscovered in the twentieth century; it is one of the rare ensembles of this kind preserved in Central Europe.
