The Menorat HaMaor ("Lamp of Light") is a moral and homiletic anthology that gathers Talmudic and Midrashic aggadic teachings on virtues and duties, organized into seven "lights." Designed to make aggadic wisdom accessible to non-scholarly readers, it became one of the most widely read ethical works in medieval Jewish communities.
