Tripod Hanukkia in Silver from Baghdad

Lamp standing on three feet, with central shaft bearing a row of eight nozzles and an elevated shamash, in the style of Jewish goldsmiths of Baghdad and Basra. The decoration in repoussé and chased work deploys palmettes, scrolls and bands of Hebrew inscriptions. Some pieces take up the silhouette of the menorah with curved branches.
