描述
Cylindrical case of silver filigree housing the Esther scroll, topped with a handle for unrolling the parchment. The work with twisted threads and soldered grains is typical of Jewish goldsmiths from Yemen, principal artisans of local silverware. The lid unscrews or hinges for Purim reading.
