描述
Marriage contract of the Jews of Bukhara, decorated in the style of Central Asian arts: round arches, stylized flowers and warm colors reminiscent of ikat silks. The central Hebrew-Aramaic text is inscribed within an architectural frame enhanced with gold. These ketubbot testify to a long-isolated community, conservative of ancient formulas.
