描述
Elijah cup in silver decorated with niello, a black inlay technique practiced by silversmiths of the Caucasus and Mountain Jews. The geometric and floral decoration sometimes frames a Hebrew inscription. Placed at the center of the Seder table, it marked the expectation of the coming of the prophet at Pessah.
