Wall-mounted tin charity box, lithographed, common in Ashkenazi households, emptied regularly by the confraternity collector. The colored label indicates the cause supported — Holy Land, yeshiva or the fund of R. Meir Baal HaNess. A modest but central object of mitsva life.
