Décrit comme grand-rabbin d'Azemmour, proche parent de Rabbi Yaacob Adiba ; il fut interprète officiel du gouverneur portugais d'Azemmour et médiateur dans des conflits entre le roi du Portugal et les tribus marocaines (négociations de 1514 et 1530).
