געגנט: Fès (Maroc)
Selon le dictionnaire onomastique d'Abraham I. Laredo (« Les noms des Juifs du Maroc »), Mosseh Atejar, habitant de Fès, était rabbin et membre du Tribunal rabbinique au XVIᵉ siècle. Le nom Atejar (at-Tejâr, אטיזאר) vient de l'arabe « les marchands / ceux qui pratiquent le commerce maritime », au sens d'« honorable », titre réservé au Maroc aux non-Musulmans.
