لقد تم الاتفاق بين الطرفين المتعاقدين اعلاه - الاول ويسمى فيما بعد بالمتولي والثاني ويسمى فيما بعد بالطالب - حسب الشروط التالية :

١- يتعهد المتولي بارسال الطالب لاكمال دراسته التحضيرية في معهد City of Westminster College في انكلترا ، او في اي معهد ثان يقرره المتولي ، لمدة سنة واحدة اعتبارا من شهر أيلول سنة ١٩٦١ وبعدها للدخول في جامعة لندن او اي جامعة ثانية يقررها المتولي لتلقي دروسه العالية والتخصص في فرع الهندسة أو العلوم خلال دراسة أمدها ثلاث سنوات اخرى لينال بعدها شهادة الـ (.B.Sc) او الـ ⟦illegible⟧

٢- يتعهد المتولي ان يدفع الى الطالب او من ينوب عنه مبلغا لا يزيد على (٥٠٠/-) خمسمائة دينار عن كل سنة من سنوات الدراسة الاربع وذلك لسد نفقات اسكان واعاشة واجور دراسة الطالب كما يدفع المتولي ايضا اجور سفر الطالب ذهابا وايابا لمرة واحدة فقط عند سفره من العراق وعودته اليه .

٣- يتعهد الطالب بالقيام بالمهمة التي ارسل من اجلها بكل نشاط واجتهاد وسوف يكرس جهوده الى دروسه بكل مواظبة ويحافظ على اخلاقه بصورة مرضية ليس في المعهد العلمي فحسب بل في خارجه ايضا كما يجب على الطالب مراعاة انظمة المعهد العلمي بكل تحفظ واخلاص وان يحاول كل ما في وسعه ان يقدم امتحانا مرضيا ويحصل على شهادة تخرج في الموضوع الموضح في الفقرة الاولى من هذا العقد على شرط ان لا تتجاوز المدة على أربع سنوات للحصول على هذه الشهادة ، على اعتبار ان هذه المدة كافية لهذا الغرض . وعلى الطالب خلال مدة دراسته ارسال الى المتولي التقارير التي تثبت نجاحه في جميع امتحاناته بين الحين والآخر كما تثبت حسن سلوكه ، على ان تكون هذه التقارير موقعة من قبل المسؤولين في الجامعة او المعهد الذي يدرس فيه الطالب .

٤- لا يجوز تبديل موضوع الدراسة المذكورة في الفقرة الاولى من هذا العقد الا في حالات اضطرارية وبناء على اقتراح سلطات المعهد العلمي الذي يدرس فيه الطالب ومقرونا بموافقة متولي الوقفية المشار اليها اعلاه الطرف الأول . عبد الرزاق

٥- يحق للمتولي طرد الطالب واستحصال منه جميع النفقات التي صرفت عليه ان أراد المتولي ذلك في الاحوال التالية : أ) اذا اساء الطالب سلوكه ، اذا حكم عليه بجريمة جناية او جنحة مخلة بالشرف. ب) اذا طلبت سلطات المعهد العلمي من الطالب ترك المعهد وذلك اما بسبب رسوبه في امتحانه او نتيجة تصرفات شائنة .

The student must also observe the regulations of the scientific institute with all discretion and sincerity and try his best to present a satisfactory examination and obtain a graduation certificate in the subject explained in the first paragraph of this contract on the condition that the period does not exceed four years to obtain this degree, considering that this period is sufficient for this purpose. During the period of his studies, the student must send to the Trustee reports proving his success in all his exams from time to time as well as proving his good conduct, provided that these reports are signed by the officials in the university or institute in which the student is studying. 4- It is not permitted to change the subject of study mentioned in the first paragraph of this contract except in cases of necessity and based on the suggestion of the authorities of the scientific institute in which the student is studying and accompanied by the approval of the trustee of the aforementioned endowment, the First Party. اجتمعت لجنة المدارس بحضور السادة :- مير بصري ، حسقيل سيتي وعبد الله عويد يا وتداولت في الامور التالية :-

١- نظرت في العريضة المقدمة من قبل سمير شاؤل حاخام ساسون الطالب في كلية بغداد المتضمنة طلب ترشيحه كطالب بعثة للدراسة العالية في انكلترا على نفقة الطائفة الموسوية للحصول على شهادة الـ ( ⟦illegible⟧ ) وبعد النظر في مستواه الدراسي ووثيقة درجاته من كلية بغداد ونتائج امتحانات للـ SAT and Achievement Tests وجدت اللجنة بان هذا الطالب يستحق الترشيح لبعثة دراسية مع العلم ان الطالب الاول من خريجي الصف الخامس من اعدادية شماش للسنة الحالية ١٩٦١/٦٠ سبق ان حصل على مساعدة مالية للدراسة في احدى الجامعات الاميركية وان الطلاب الآخرين من خريجي هذا العام الذين يمتازون بمستواهم الدراسي وعددهم خمسة كلهم من الموسرين وبامكانهم الدراسة على نفقتهم الخاصة . لذا فقد تقرر الطلب الى اللجنة الادارية تأييد ترشيح الطالب سمير شاؤل حاخام ساسون لبعثة هذا العام .

٢- بالنظر لانتهاء عقد استخدام المسز لوسيل ( Mrs. M. Lucile ) مدرسة اللغة الانكليزية في اعدادية شماش ومدرسة فرنك عيني وعدم رغبتها في تجديد العقد على نفس الشروط السابقة . قررت اللجنة تخويل السكرتير عبد الله عويد يا صلاحية تجديد عقد استخدامها بالشروط التي ينسبها وذلك لضمان سير الدراسة في العام الدراسي المقبل بانتظام خاصة وان الموما اليها برهنت على الكفاءة في التدريس والاخلاص في العمل .

٣- قررت اللجنة تكليف السيد نعيم عبير المقيم حاليا في لندن بالاعلان عن استخدام مدرس واحد او مدرسين ( اثنين ) في حالة عدم الاتفاق مع مسز لوسيل للاستمرار في التعليم في مدارسنا . والتعاقد معهما لتدريس اللغة الانكليزية في السنة الدراسية المقبلة كما جرى ترتيبه في السنوات السابقة على ان تكون شروط الاستخدام متناسبة مع الوضع الحاضر نظرا لارتفاع مستوى رواتب المدرسين عن السنوات الماضية .

The Schools Committee met in the presence of: Meer Basri, Heskel Sety, and Abdullah Oweidia, and discussed the following matters: 1- It reviewed the petition submitted by Samir Shaul Hakham Sassoon, a student at Baghdad College, which includes a request to nominate him as a scholarship student for higher studies in England at the expense of the Jewish Community to obtain the ( ⟦illegible⟧ ) certificate. After reviewing his academic level and his transcript of grades from Baghdad College and the results of his exams for the SAT and Achievement Tests, the committee found that this student deserves a nomination for a scholarship, noting that the top student among the graduates of the fifth grade from Shamash Secondary School for the current year 1960/61 has previously obtained financial aid to study at an American university, and that the other students among this year's graduates who are distinguished by their academic level, numbering five in total, are all from wealthy families and can study at their own expense. Therefore, it was decided to request the Administrative Committee to endorse the nomination of the student Samir Shaul Hakham Sassoon for this year's scholarship. 2- In view of the expiration of the employment contract of Mrs. M. Lucile, the English language teacher at Shamash Secondary School and Frank Iny School, and her lack of desire to renew the contract under the same previous conditions, the committee decided to authorize the secretary Abdullah Oweidia to renew her employment contract under the conditions he deems appropriate, in order to ensure the regular progress of studies in the next academic year, especially since the aforementioned has demonstrated competence in teaching and sincerity in work. 3- The committee decided to task Mr. Naim Abir, currently residing in London, to advertise for the employment of one or two teachers in case of failure to agree with Mrs. Lucile to continue teaching in our schools, and to contract with them to teach the English language in the next academic year as was arranged in previous years, provided that the conditions of employment are proportional to the current situation given the rise in teacher salary levels compared to past years. 4- The committee decided to authorize the secretary Abdullah Oweidia to pay the summer vacation salaries to those he designates from among the members of the teaching staff in our schools to facilitate the affairs of teachers in need, especially those teachers who spend the summer vacation outside Iraq. 5- The committee decided to task the secretary Abdullah Oweidia to supervise the erection of the Immortal July 14th Arch and to supervise the organization of the popular parade on this occasion and to spend on these activities, provided that final expense reports are submitted to the Administrative Committee as was arranged last year. Copy of the Resolution Schools Committee Session of Monday, 27 / 6 / 1960 The committee met on Monday, 27 / 6 / 1960, in the presence of Messrs. Meer Basri, Heskel Sety, Sassoon Bashi, and Abdullah Ovedia to consider the petitions submitted by some students in which they request to obtain a scholarship to study outside Iraq at the expense of the late Heskel Menachem Daniel and others. The Administrative Committee had referred this matter orally to the Schools Committee for consideration, noting that it is possible to send one student only on a scholarship this year. After deliberation on the subject, the Schools Committee reached the following:- 1- The applicants for this scholarship are three, and they are:- a- Yaqub Heskel Muslih - who completed his studies in the fifth grade of Shamash Secondary School in the current academic year 59 / 1960. b- Salman Heskel Ballas - who completed his studies in the fifth grade of Shamash Secondary School in the current academic year 59 / 1960. c- Linda Yusuf Dangoor - who graduated from the fifth secondary grade of Shamash Secondary School in the summer of 1958. 2- After considering the qualifications of each of the three students above in terms of their level of study in the Frank Iny and Shamash Secondary schools, and in terms of the exams they passed in the ( ⟦G.C.E.⟧ ) of the University of London, and in terms of the entrance exams for American universities ⟦affiliated⟧ which they recently passed through the ( ⟦Educational Testing Service⟧ ) affiliated with ( ⟦Princeton⟧ ), and after confirming their good conduct and behavior during their attendance at the Frank Iny and Shamash schools, it was found that these three students are approximately equal in all these aspects. 3- The committee decided to favor the two students Yaqub Heskel Muslih and Salman Heskel Ballas over the student Linda Yusuf Dangoor. Firstly - because they are graduates of the current academic year, and secondly - because of the committee's belief that the benefit from sending a male student to study is ultimately greater than the intended benefit from sending a female student to study. 4- The information available to the majority of the members of this committee indicates that the student Salman Heskel Ballas is of poor means and cannot under any circumstances complete his studies at his own expense, neither fully nor partially, while the committee believes that the guardian of the student Yaqub Heskel Muslih is financially able to send his son to study outside Iraq at his own expense. 5- Based on the above, and given the availability of a scholarship for one student only at the expense of the late Heskel Menachem Daniel and others for this year, the Schools Committee has decided to nominate the student Salman Heskel Ballas for this scholarship, and it hopes the Administrative Committee will take the final decision in this regard. 6- Desiring to encourage the other two students, namely Yaqub Heskel Muslih and Linda Yusuf Dangoor, both of whom are diligent students, and keen to create a spirit of joy ⟦and competition⟧ and competition among students to strive in our schools and in accordance with adopting good behavior, the Schools Committee proposes to the Administrative Committee to grant financial aid ranging between one hundred and one hundred and fifty Dinars annually for a period of four years of study for each of the two students mentioned above, if that is possible for it.
