Médecin, philosophe et mathématicien de Salonique, qui vivait vers 1540. Il fut le maître de Daniel ben Peraḥyah, qu'il aida dans la traduction de l'espagnol en hébreu de l'« Almanac » d'Abraham Zacuto. Il fut également utile au prédicateur Moses Almosnino dans sa traduction hébraïque du « El Tratado de la Esphera » (Treatise on the Sphere) de Juan Sacrobosco. Il écrivit « Opiniones Sacadas de los mas Auténticos y Antiguos Philósophos que Sobre la Alma Escrivieron, y sus Definiciones » (Selected Opinions of the most Authentic and Ancient Philosophers on the Soul, and their Definitions), Venise, 1568.
