Firebombing attack against a march for hostages
1ᵉʳ juin 2025·Boulder (Colorado)
The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
Pearl Street Mall is the pedestrian street in downtown Boulder, Colorado, where every Sunday since the October 7, 2023 attack, a silent march organized by the group Run for Their Lives had been held to demand the release of hostages held in Gaza. On June 1, 2025, a man appeared among the marchers disguised as a gardener, threw Molotov cocktails and projected flames using a sprayer, while shouting slogans about Palestine. A dozen participants were burned; Karen Diamond, a woman in her eighties, succumbed to her injuries several weeks later. The attacker, an Egyptian national living in Colorado, was prosecuted for hate crimes at both the federal and state levels.
