Trawniki, in the Lublin region, housed both a labor camp to which workshops from the enclosed quarter of Warsaw had been transferred, and the school where the occupier trained the foreign auxiliaries employed in the camps of Operation Reinhard.
As part of Operation "Erntefest," the Jewish detainees of the labor camp were assembled in early November and shot in pits prepared the day before at the edge of the camp. The execution was carried out in a single day.
