District capital south of Kiev, Lypovets sees its Jews marked, subjected to forced labor then taken in columns toward the pits dug at the edge of the town.

Lypovets, a district capital in Podolia, sees its Jews recorded as soon as the occupier arrives, stripped of their possessions, then gathered in waves and led to pits dug on the outskirts of the town. The craftsmen kept for a time on account of their trade are shot in turn when the district is declared cleared.
