The ghetto inhabitants are deported to Bełżec or shot on the spot.

Brody, a former market town on the border of Galicia and Volhynia, had a Jewish community that formed the majority of its population. A closed quarter was established there, to which Jews from the surrounding towns and villages were also brought.

The actions of autumn led the inhabitants either to Bełżec or to pits dug at the edge of the town. The closed quarter of Brody was one of those where groups attempted to reach the forests before the final liquidation.
