Town of the southern Boug valley, Tyvriv sees its Jews gathered near the monastery then shot at the river's edge, families from surrounding villages having been brought to be killed with them.
Tyvriv, a town on the banks of the Buh, loses its community in the successive roundups that strike the region: the inhabitants are gathered away from the town, led toward pits dug in the woods and shot, while the houses are distributed and the belongings dispersed.
