Black Death massacres in Swabia
1349·Donauwörth
The toll is reproduced exactly as the source states it — never rounded, never added to another. Tolls overlap from one event to the next.
the destroyed community
The community of Donauwörth, at the confluence of the Danube and the Wörnitz, was destroyed during the Black Death.
The name of the "Judengasse" survived there long after the street had ceased to be inhabited by Jews: it is often toponymy that has preserved the trace of these erased communities.
