Filigree silver Torah finials from Morocco
Enrich the Great Bookרימונים מכסף פיליגרן ממרוקו
Description
Rimonim ("pomegranates") crown the staves of the Torah scroll. In Morocco they often take the form of tiered silver-filigree towers hung with small bells that ring as the Torah is carried. The openwork filigree is typical of Judeo-Moroccan silversmithing.
