Description

Small vessels and a silver cone from the Yemenite henna kit, in which the paste was prepared and presented at the wedding feast. In Yemen the bride was adorned in a ceremonial costume and a headdress covered with jewels and flowers, and henna traced patterns on her hands. The filigree pieces came from renowned Jewish silversmith workshops.
