Description
Prayer-shawl pouch of tanned leather tooled with fine geometric motifs, closed by a flap and a thong. Yemenite Jewish craftsmen, renowned for leatherwork as for silver, sometimes inscribed the owner's name. A sober, durable object of synagogue life.
