Description
Large white faience dish with Delft blue decoration, inscribed in Hebrew with the order of the Seder (kadesh, urhatz, karpas…) around the center. The places of the symbolic foods are sometimes depicted, and the border carries scrollwork and flowers. Made in the Netherlands for Jewish customers, it joins Dutch faience to the Passover liturgy.
