Description
Oval hallmarked silver box, engraved or repoussé with vines, palms and an inscription relating to Sukkot, lined inside to protect the citron. The domed hinged lid opens for the blessing of the four species. Made in Vienna, Budapest and Bohemia, it illustrates the Jewish silverwork of Central Europe.
