Description
Painted canvas hanging suspended on the walls of the Sukkot booth, depicting Jerusalem, the ushpizin (biblical guests), views of the Holy Land or festival verses. The colorful, sometimes architectural decoration turns the sukkah into an adorned space. A tradition of the Italian communities devoted to beautifying the seven-day booth.
